I had such a great time working with Hannah and Chase creating this session. They wanted to recreate their first meeting at the Salt Lake City airport and also do a cozy indoor session. So we had two very different shoots, which was so fun. The first part of the session we shot at the Atkin House, which is a cool old house here in Tooele turned into a hotel. I wish we would have had time to shoot in other parts of the house, it is so cute and has so much character. The second part of the session, at the Salt Lake City Airport, was really fun for me. I’ve flown out of that airport many, many times and have so many good travel memories associated with it. However, I don’t know that I’ve ever done a session in such a public place with so many people around. I drug along a huge sheet of foam insulation board to use as a reflector. My reflector broke and I just need to solder it together, but in the mean time I’ve been using my home-made, very un-professional piece of foam board. Haha, I got lots of looks walking through the airport, it was pretty embarrassing. And in the end, I didn’t even end up using it : ) Funny.
Hannah and Chase are so cute together and you can tell how much they adore one another. It was really fun getting to know them on the drive to the airport. They both are really unique, interesting people. I kept telling them how jealous I was of these pictures. I want photos like this of my husband and I… maybe throw our kids in a few ; ) I like how you can tell how much they really love one another in these shots. It was seriously a pleasure! Congrats you two!!!
