It’s ok to accept that we aren’t amazing at everything. Every time I do newborns I’m reminded of this. I feel pretty comfortable taking family photos. I feel the adrenaline rush when I get a great shot of a bride and groom. But newborns are tough. You’d think an adorable, sleeping baby would be no big deal. But there is something about the angles of photographing a laying baby that eludes me. I’ve watched tutorials, read blogs, but when I get a baby in front of me I have no idea how to get a flattering angle. Ugh. Send me your babies so I can improve!
This little cutie is my nephew Dax. He was a little wiggly, but mostly compliant : ) I love him already.
I have to say this one is my favorite. There is just something so stinking cute about his arms behind his head and his direct look into the camera. I just want to know what he’s thinking.
